Berê Xikrin Indigenous Association

A project by Berê with Fundo Casa Socioambiental to improve communication within and beyond the Indigenous Territory, decided by the 2021 assembly.

With internet in the villages, contact between them becomes easier and territorial surveillance improves: alerts reach enforcement and protection agencies faster.

Internet also makes it easier to follow up on projects and on the Association’s work with partners and public institutions, accessing public policies and securing the rights of the Xikrin people.
